We rescued a golden 13-1/2 years ago who was deemed aggressive. We later learned that he had been abused. He was a handful for a couple of years but turned into a wonderful, loving pet. He just passed away at the age of 14-1/2. He was my constant companion after my husband passed away. He kept me sane during the pandemic. He was my beautiful, goofy best friend.
